COOKING LESSONS, AND WINE AND OLIVE OIL TASTINGS
Upon request, for groups of minimum 4 persons, starting March of each year, we organize both elementary oenology (wine) lessons and kitchen lessons*. Of course, also wine and olive oil tastings.

During the oenology lesson we introduce you to the cultivation of the grapes and fermentation and production of both red and white wines, and in some cases, also the aging process. The last part of the lesson is dedicated to the tasting, choice and possible food combinations. The lessons are given in a local winery.
In our Cantinello, we can also arrange for a professional tastings of Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil (minimum for 4 persons)*.
The cooking lessons instead, as usual for a minimum of 4 persons, deal with Tuscan and Mediterranean way of life when it comes to purchasing, cooking and eating. At the beginning we introduce you briefly to our gastronomy history, the list of the traditional ingredients, and their choice and initial preparation. We then start with the antipasto and salads, and follow with first courses, mainly soups, rice and pasta. The lessons are given in a well known restaurant of San Quirico, headed by its Chef.
* The price of the lessons is agreed upon each time (except the tastings), depending on the length and complexity desired.
